1. Washington Ultra Series
I'll have the website updated for the 2010 Washington Ultra Series in a couple of weeks. The included races will remain the same so make sure you get signed up for Orcas to get started in the series.
2. 2010 Race Calender is up!
The preliminary 2010 Race Calender is now up. Not all of the races have updated their webpages so some of the dates may change. I normally only post trail races longer than a marathon that occur in the Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and BC, plus any short race series I'm aware of. If you know of any races that should be included or any errors, please let me know.
3. Born to Run
If you haven't had the chance to read Born to Run, I suggest you pick up a copy right away. It is a great read about ultra running with a section including Scott Jurek. It would also make a great gift for your favorite ultrarunner. I downloaded a narrated version from Audible which I highly recommend. The narrator is very good and I listen to the story on my iphone while commuting on the bus.
