1. Washington Ultra Series Results
Cle Elum is the last race of the series this weekend. Afer we get the results, the final standings will be posted. There are some close races in the age groups. Good luck to you all.
2. Oregon Trail Ultramarathon Series Results
The Oregon series is now finished. The overall womens winner is Caroline Klug and the overall for the men is William Swint. Check out all the age group results at: http://www.oregontrailseries.org/data/results2008.htm
3. DNR Public Hearings
Throughout the month of September, DNR is holding nine workshops across the state to gather input from individuals and user groups to help create a new vision for recreation on DNR-managed forestlands. 4. Crazy Tips
- Waist Lights!
Everyone's heard of headlamps, but wearing your headlamp around your waist has some advantages:1. The light is closer to the ground and therefor brighter.
2. You can look around without loosing track of the ground in front of you.
3. Trail dust and mist don't fog your view.
4. You can carry a heavier battery pack.
5. And the best - If you lean back running downhill, you can't see the Trail!
